Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day - Handmade Pillow

I have been very lucky enough to win prizes of both handmade and crafty supplies in previous SMS Days, so this year I'm offering up two prizes! The other one is here.

This is a giveaway for this Union Jack Pillowcase, all made by my fair hands!
It measures 18"x27" which means a bed sized pillow will fit in it.
The giveaway doesn't include the pillow pad!
It's paper pieced, in quilting cottons and the pattern is by Lynne at Lily's Quilts and comes from this months Love Patchwork & Quilting Magazine.

The Rules.

➢The giveaway will be open from today (Monday 12th May) until 5pm PST on Friday 16th May 2014 thats the middle of the night for me, so I'll get Mr Random to pick a winner on Saturday 17th May.

➢I WILL post internationally, so you can enter wherever you are in the world.

➢Please, please, please, make sure I have your email if you are a no-reply commenter, I'm not telepathic and really don't have enough time to be chasing around the internet to find a contact email for you.

So, now how to enter, leave me a comment telling me what is your favourite thing to make as a gift. I favour cushions, but I'm sure my family are fed up with them….

As a bonus entry, be a follower (old, new and anyway you like) and let me know in a separate comment telling me how you follow.

    Last year I made everyone fabric baskets as presents and filled with a theme e.g. as a sewing basket. I am into pincushions at the moment as I tend to have a theme for a while. Thank you for a beautiful giveaway. x

    My favorite thing to sew are rice therapy heat bags (SMS has a tutorial on this: http://www.sewmamasew.com/2007/11/rice-heat-therapy-bag-tutorial/). They take no time to whip up, and both men and women LOVE them (and it's sooo hard to find nice things to sew for men!).

    I like to make quilted table runners, or table toppers, and baby quilts. Recently I began making lingerie bags for travelers and shoe bags - draw string bag with appliqued shoe or bra and pants set in black sillouette on the front. Love the pillowcase.

    My favourite thing to sew for presents is little box bags or zippy pouches, although I love to knit socks more than anything. I love your cushion - I don't think I've seen a handmade one before where the white stripes are different widths like they should be. Well done!

    I adore your version! I confess, I have it on my list form the Love Patchwork and Quilting mag, but I have a bunch of others above; how nice to have it without sewing it. Especially this gorgeous version with such lovely colours! Back to question at hand though-- I love to make linen tea towels for gifts, and mini quilts too!

    That is so beautiful! My favorite thing to make for gifts is baby items (so really I only make gifts for baby showers or my nieces and nephews' birthdays, etc). I make bibs, baby clothes, and baby blankets. :)
