February was a bit of a tricky month around here. It's too short, cold and well thank goodness it is over, I can almost smell spring!
But I did get three things ticked off the list, just.
But I did get three things ticked off the list, just.
I would like to hide for March, but that is the major birthday month around this house, so I need to man-up!! And I do have another finish to share just need the man of the house to help me get some photos.
Next month I need to get a baby quilt done as a friend has just had a little girl, (miles away from me but she still needs a quilt!!) and I would like to crack open a pattern I bought in......... can't remember, but a sale at The Village Haberdashery.....so I might make a quick trip to Walthamstow Market for some fabric for a muslin!! I know any excuse to buy more fabric!!
I'm linking up with the lovely Lynne's
Love your frock, and how well all your makes go together!
ReplyDeleteLovely finishes!

I love you shawl scarf , where did you get the pattern? I do envy you being able to drop into The Village Haberdashery, I've never been but it sounds a lovely shop. Thanks for visiting my blog,
ReplyDeleteHappy quilting this week,
Kind regards,
Sue
Three beautiful finishes. I love the dress.
ReplyDeleteLove the shawl and the hat is cute too. I used to sew for myself but now it mostly jeans and a shirt.
ReplyDeleteI missed the dress finish - either that or you haven't shared on IG. It looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteHELLOOOO I am here via Lynne's blog and I have some girlish churn dash blocks for you! They were lovely and quick and exactly what I needed for a pretty little break from big projects, so thank you very much for that! Can you message me your address please?
ReplyDeleteAnd also, how rude of me: what fabulous February finishes, especially the detail in that dress. I have an Emery dress not even cut out, I'm ashamed to say, and a half-finished shawl that I started last winter... you're putting me to shame. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm also here via Lynne's blog and will happily switch colours for a more feminine quilt. Can you please send me your address. Love the finishes. Particularly the shawl. Never had the patience or skill for hand work like that.
ReplyDeleteI adore that dress!
ReplyDeleteAhh, so you were smelling spring in that first shot, I just thought you couldn't bear to look at the camera ;o)
